PAPHLAGONIA. Sinope. Late 4th-3rd century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.23 g, 12 h). Head of a nymph to left, hair in sakkos, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΣI-NΩ Eagle facing, head left, wings displayed; to right, monogram of ΠP. RG p. 196, 30. SNG BM Black Sea 1496. SNG von Aulock 216. Nicely toned. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, good very fine.
